Refunds and Exchange Policy

For this Policy, wherever the context so requires “You” or “User” shall mean any natural or legal person who has agreed to become a buyer/user on any of Tailbuds Sales Platforms. The term “Tailbuds“, “Tailbuds Sales Platforms“, “Platform“, “We “, “Us “, “Our” shall mean Tailbuds Pvt Ltd, all its brands like Tailbuds, and any of its associated sales platform under the control of Tailbuds Pvt Ltd.  Items/Platforms that are part of Tailbuds Sales Platforms are listed on Tailbuds Sales Platforms Page.

We want to get it right the first time with you because we are a customer-centric organisation. However, there are times things go sideways, and we understand/hope you understand. Our refunds and exchanges work a particular way and are mentioned below.

Refunds

All refunds will be processed once Tailbuds has approved of the returns, exchange or cancellation requests and have given confirmation to you about processing a refund. Refunds due to cancellation by Tailbuds

Where we cancel your order, we will refund your money in full if it has already been paid. This includes all the money you’ve paid us during your ordering process on the items that are cancelled, including shipping costs, taxes, refund fees, etc. We will process your refund in 5-7 working days from the date of cancellation by tailbuds. Refunds due to cancellation by you

When you cancel your order, and it has been accepted by us, we will refund your money in full less cancellation fees if it has already been paid. The cancellation fee is ₹ 25 flat inclusive of the refund fee. We will process your refund the next business day from the date of cancellation. In case of a Cash on Delivery (COD) order, we will still charge the fee applicable for the COD orders to your account and send in the invoice with the payment link to your e-mail along with the terms and timelines of the payment. Refunds due to returns

When items are returned by raising a return request from your end other than “return due to damages” and the request is accepted by us, we will refund you the amount of money applicable for the returned items deducting the shipping costs, including the return shipping costs if money has already been paid. In case your order was eligible for free shipping, only the shipping of the order to you is eligible for free shipping. The return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund if money has already been paid. A refund fee of ₹ 15 flat will be deducted from the refund amount too. We will process your refund in the next two business days from the date of confirmation of receipt of products returned from our/our partners’ warehouses. In case of a Cash on Delivery (COD) order, we will still charge the fee applicable for the COD orders along with all the applicable shipping costs to your account and send in the invoice with the payment link to your e-mail, which will include the terms and timelines of the payment.

Refunds due to damages

When items are returned by raising a “return due to damages” request and the request is accepted by us, we will refund you the full amount of the damaged items, including the total shipping costs incurred if the money is already paid. In case of a Cash on Delivery (COD) order, we will not charge the fee applicable for the COD orders.

Exchanges

All exchanges will be processed once Tailbuds has approved the exchange request and have given confirmation to you about processing the exchange.

Exchange

When items are returned by raising a return request from your end other than “return due to damages” and the request is accepted by us, we can exchange the products for you up to the value of the amount of money applicable for the returned items deducting the shipping costs including the return shipping costs and re-shipping costs if money has already been paid. In case your order was eligible for free shipping, only one of the shipping of the order to you is eligible for free shipping. The lowest shipping cost of all the shipments done to you will be considered towards free shipping. The return shipping cost will be deducted from the value of the amount of money applicable for exchange. We will process your exchange in 7-10 business days from the date of confirmation of receipt of products returned from our/our partners’ warehouses. In case of a Cash on Delivery (COD) order, we will still charge the fee applicable for the COD orders along with all the applicable shipping costs to your account and send it in the invoice, which will be part of your exchange shipment package.

Exchange due to damages

When items are returned by raising a “return due to damages” request and the request is accepted by us, we will give you an option to replace or exchange for other products for the full amount of the damaged items including the total shipping costs incurred if the money is already paid. In case of a Cash on Delivery (COD) order, we will not double charge the fee applicable for the COD orders.

 

 

Tailbuds reserves the right to decide whether a customer can be refunded, the applicability of the refund amount or the customer’s eligibility for an exchange.
